Forankra is part of Axel Johnson International. Axel Johnson International is in turn part of Axel Johnson AB which is one of four separate units of Axel Johnson Group.

Forankra is part of Axel Johnson International, a global industrial group of more than 120 companies in 28 countries. Axel Johnson International drives business development and growth through a long-term approach to ownership in strategically selected niche markets, primarily technical components and solutions for industrial processes. Axel Johnson International is organised in six business groups: Fluid Handling Solutions, Industrial Solutions, Lifting Solutions, Power Transmission Solutions, Transport Solutions and Driveline Solutions where Forankra belongs to Transport Solutions.

Axel Johnson International is owned by Axel Johnson AB which is part of the Axel Johnson Group, a family owned company with a mission to build and develop profitable businesses within trade and services. The company was founded in 1873 with trade as a base.
