Axel Johnson International to form Transport Solutions business group

Effective October 2, Axel Johnson International is creating a new SEK 1.4 billion business group named Transport Solutions. The new business group will target the transport market as a whole, going beyond the current focus on components for heavy vehicles and cargo securing solutions covering transport for road, air and sea.

In the new Transport Solutions business group, the companies within Cargo Securing Solutions (Forankra and allsafe) will be joined by Abkati, Widni, Eigenbrodt and recently acquired Sternhammar, allowing the companies to benefit from similarities in their markets. Transport Solutions will be led by Erik Eklöv, currently Managing Director of Cargo Securing Solutions.
